Aquí selects its grapes at optimum ripeness to promote the pure expression and flavors of the variety. The cooled bunches are handled with the utmost delicacy and gentle winemaking at Antigal’s gravity-fed winery, leading to vibrant, juicy wines with silky, rounded tannins.

TASTING NOTES

An intense violet color. Ripe tannins support fresh flavors of plum, strawberry and cherry. A good balance of acidity, sustained through the lingering finish, invites repeated sips and makes this an excellent table wine.

ABOUT THE WINE

One of the house’s classics, made from estate vineyards in Vistalba, one of the highest areas of the Luján de Cuyo DO. It comes from a selection of the best vineyards and barrels. The varieties are first aged separately, then brought together for the final six months in 225- and 500-liter barrels and foudres.

TASTING NOTES

A very local wine with the sweetness and succulence that characterize the reds of Luján de Cuyo — firm tannins and flavors of ripe black fruit that fill the mouth.

Ripe and full-bodied on the palate, with juicy flavors of cassis, black currant, cherry, violet, licorice and pepper, along with hints of tobacco. Strong body and a pleasant finish, where red and black fruits mingle with vanilla and mocha.
